Jean-Paul Villere resides with his wife and four daughters in New Orleans where, when he isn’t drinking coffee or changing diapers, he enjoys operating Du Mois Gallery on Freret St and noodling with found objects and digital images. He is left-handed, nearsighted, and (mostly) a self-taught artist. In 2011 he won the locally coveted WTUL (Tulane’s radio station) annual t-shirt contest with his piece “Convenience.”
