What a great publication. I read it all and enjoyed the variety of formats and topics published. It was also interesting to note that Bruce Fuller had written a poem, A Lot Like Venus, and said it was Hillary Joubert. I am taking a poetry class from Hillary now and learning about all the different forms I have available to use. Your publication let me see some of those forms in print. Thanks again.

An auspicious debut! The poetry is especially rich. Contrast the menace of John Freeman’s “Dusk at Hal’s Auto Salvage” with the haunting, bittersweet vignettes offered by Lena Roach in “Keepsakes” and “The Gift.” Stella Nesanovich delights with warm memories of a mother’s love in “Coda.” This is a lively and satisfying collection by a group of talented writers. I look forward to the next issue.
